FROM THE HEART OF THE FOREST TO THE FRAGRANT HILLS

FLIGHT : TANA - SAMBAVA

• Arrival and welcome at the airport. Transfer and briefing at Soaland Appart's. 
• In the afternoon, around 2:00 pm, departure for an exciting visit of the plantation of Soavoanio. This coconut plantation stretches along the beach north and south of the city of Sambava. 
• The plantation visited, 5 km south of Sambava, will make you discover the hybridization process, then the germoir and finally the nursery. 
• Logical continuation of the discovery, the copra ovens and the workshop of coconut oil distillation. Dinner and overnight stay at Soaland Appart's.

SAMBAVA - MAROJEJY

• Around 6:00 am, departure from Sambava after the breakfast towards the Village Manantenina (60 km of Sambava) then beginning of the walk towards 7:30 am. 
• Arrival at the Mantella camp around 11:00 or 12:00, a small visit to the Humbert waterfall after lunch, break or swimming at the camp, meeting with the Bamboo lemurs. 
• Dinner and overnight at Camp I in Marojejy Park.

MAROJEJY

• Around 7:30 a.m., after breakfast, travel to Camp Marojejya, an hour's walk away, to discover and appreciate the beauty of Camp Marojejya. After lunch, look for the famous "Simpona", the silky sifaka, which is covered with extremely white fur and can only be observed in this region.
•  Dinner and overnight stay at Marojejya Camp II in Marojejy Park.

MAROJEJY - SAMBAVA - AMBOHIMANITRA

• Around 7:30 am, after breakfast, a second chance to discover the silky sifaka in the morning relaxation or discovery of small insects around the camp Marojejya, lunch around 11:00 am, beginning of the descent around 12:00 am, arrived around 3:30 am in the village of Manantenina. 
• Return to Sambava, continuing to the Domaine d'Ambohimanitra (105 km in total) Dinner and overnight stay at the Domaine d'Ambohimanitra.

DOMAIN OF AMBOHIMANITRA

• After breakfast at 9:30 am, visit of the Domaine d'Ambohimanitra (60ha): discovery of the vanilla plantation and the different varieties of vanilla trees, as well as the nurseries of local varieties. The visit is guided and deals in detail with the plant and the process of mutilation of the vanilla flower. 
• To finish the bath in vanilla, a meal scented vanilla will be served on the terrace with a panoramic view. 
• Afternoon: relaxation Dinner and overnight stay at Domaine d'Ambohimanitra.

AMBOHIMANITRA - MACOLLINE - AMBOHIMANITRA

• After breakfast at 9:00 am, departure for Antalaha for the visit of Macolline (35 km from the Domain). Macolline is an arboretum sheltering on 10 hectares of native species. It has the ambition to be a Masoala Hely. 
• Through the excursion course, you will discover a varied and endemic fauna and flora, and you will be led along the water for a stroll on the Ankavanana. Picnic lunch at the belvedere with a breathtaking view on the mouth of the river or at Bellerose according to the weather. Around 5:00 pm transfer to the Domain of Ambohimanitra. 
• Dinner and overnight stay at Domaine d'Ambohimanitra.

AMBOHIMANITRA - SAMBAVA - TANA

• After breakfast, departure for Sambava and transfer to the airport for the flight to Antananarivo.

TANA - RETURN FLIGHT

• Breakfast at the hotel. Then debriefing.
• Visit of the Palace of the Queen and the Malagasy Prime Minister. Visit of the museum of photography and discovery of the upper town.
• Transfer to Ivato international airport for your return flight.
