General Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Prices

On the WELCOME MADAGASIKARA website, the rates are indicated per person and in euros. These prices are given as an indication. They correspond to a basic price, subject to variation according to the season, the number of participants in the trip, the exchange rate. The prices to be taken into account are those indicated on your final invoice.

2. Confirmation of your trip to Madagascar

To be confirmed, your registration must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the amount of the reserved services. At 45 days of your arrival date, the payment of the balance will be due. For any registration less than 45 days before your departure date, the reservation will be confirmed only after the total payment of the reserved services.

3. Payment

We offer two options for payment:

  1. By bank transfer in Euro or USD to a foreign currency account (Our bank statement here). All bank charges are at your expense (including intermediary banks).
  2. Payment by credit card from our secure website.

4. In case of cancellation of your trip

Any cancellation must be the subject of an email directly informing WELCOME MADAGASIKARA. Cancellation fees are charged to the customer.

If you have to cancel your trip to Madagascar, the conditions of cancellation are as follows:

  • More than 45 days from the arrival date: the fee is 50€ for the preparation of administrative documents
  • Between 45 days and 25 days of the arrival date: 30% of the amount of the services concerned.
  • Between 25 days and 10 days of the arrival date: 70 % of the amount of the services concerned.
  • Between 10 days and the date of arrival: 95 % of the amount of the services concerned.
  • During the journey or the duration of your stay the services will not be reimbursed.

It is the customer's responsibility to notify their cancellation insurance within the time-frame required by the cancellation conditions in order to verify if they are eligible for the cancellation fees.

NB: A passenger who could not board a flight to our country or who would have been blocked at the airport for not considering the necessary files (passport, visa,...) will not be reimbursed in any case.

5. Responsibilities of the customer

WELCOME MADAGASIKARA cannot be held responsible for :

  • For forgotten, lost or damaged personal items;
  • Theft or damage to your personal items in the hotels;
  • Damage resulting from an event of force majeure (bad weather, natural disaster, a problem of political nature, strike);
  • Damage committed by other passengers, travelers;
  • Consequences related to delays, impediments, or cancellation of flights of air transport;
  • Consequences related to changes in schedule or airport;
  • Consequences related to delays, or impediments due to land transport;
  • Consequences related to delays, or impediments, or cancellation due to rail transport;
  • Non-compliance with the schedule by you.

NB:

  • The possible expenses which result from it (cab, hotel...) are not invoiced or included in the offers of WELCOME MADAGASIKARA will remain at the customer's charge.
  • You must also respect the values of the country and the rights of children.

6. Good to know

In case of unavailability of a service provider during the circuit or stay, or if in case of force majeure (health context, weather conditions, requisitions, strikes, natural disasters, political circumstances ...), we are forced to cancel or modify the planned programs, we will do our best to replace them with equivalent services.

When circumstances oblige us to do so, it may happen that we replace one means of transport with another; change the itinerary without these important modifications entailing any compensation. The customer will not be able to refuse them without correct reasons.
